I researched LED TVs for weeks before deciding upon this model last July. It is absolutely fabulous. Thanks for all of the past reviews which helped me to decide on this one.
The picture is flawless. Others have complained about the lack of synchronization. That's because your listening through something other than the TV speakers. Use the TV speakers and there's no problem.
DH attached a cable so that we can watch media from an SD card (or other direct input) and be able to use the wireless headphones!
We've had other family members complain that the picture is TOO GOOD!
This is only my second Amazon review, but I feel so strongly that I had to pass the word about this wonderful TV.

I have had this t.v for a couple of months now and I am still thrilled with it. I read every single review on amazon twice before I put down this hunk of money. I was absolutely prepared to take this back if it didn't hold up to my expectations.Here is what I found with my t.v.

Corner light- Yeah Its there. It is very subtle however. My husband didn't see it until I got up and walked to the t.v and pointed it out and no one else has noticed it either. I only saw it because I was really trying to look for it and all the light were out. I wanted to make sure this didn't become annoying later so I put in my copy of Lord Of The Rings widescreen edition and I am telling you it's very very faint.

Ghosting- I have seen this once. During the same movie, in the beginning, the screen goes completely black for about 20 seconds. In the middle of the t.v the black seems not so black. Not white or cloud-like, just not as dark. I tried different lighting and nothing seemed to effect it. I put in several other "dark" movies and I never saw this again.

Shudder/jerkiness- I haven't seen this with my set.

Sound- Okay sound blows! I knew it would though and plan on getting surround sound in the near future. The thing is you have to keep adjusting the sound but it's not the end of the world.

3D- It is pretty cool. We watched the new Star Trek movie in 3D and it gave the movie a nice depth. Nature shows look awesome in the 3D.

Overall- I love this t.v. The picture is fantastic. So clear it takes some getting use to. The 3D is cool even if it doesn't take off. I bought this as a bundle with the 3D kit and the 3D Blu-ray player for 2700.

Okay first off let me say that I think Samsung does make some of THE best TVs out there. But this isn't one of them. I have been looking for a high quality TV to play games on and for movies for a while now. I got an e-mail from Amazon stating that the new 2010 models from Samsung were now available. I thought great timing since I just got some back-pay owed to me. I wanted a 32" TV since the room this was going into is not very big. I looked around the internet but there were no reviews yet, just the manufacture description. So I took the gamble and bought this one. I received the TV three days ago, and have been bummed since. Okay for the review. First impressions: Beautiful TV, I really like the styling and glossy finish. I actually laughed at how skinny the box was. Set up was not hard at all and they provide cable management to hide the cables from the back. THEN I turned it on. QUICK NOTE* It states that it "absorbs ambient light and virtually eliminates reflections", I say BS! It has the worse amount of reflection on any TV I have ever seen. My computer monitor sits on the opposite wall (about 14' away) and I can easily read text from it. When trying to watch the news, I couldn't see half the screen because of the reflection, it is that bad. If you know anything about HDTV, then you know that the Black Level is the number one factor in picture depth and quality. The black on this set is not black, though you'll probably only achieve that on a plasma, here it is a semi dark grey even after adjustment. Again disappointing since I saw a deeper black on their own 32" 360 series at Walmart that was about 0 cheaper too. Now for the biggest complaint, yes there's more, it is the amount of back-light bleed. The top corners have a grey fan shaped bleed that extend about 5" inwards, in the middle on the left half of the screen there are four large bleed throughs about 7" square each, and a 6" bleed in the middle of the right half of the screen. These bleed throughs or clouding is visible even in bright images. It makes the image wavy like. Also of note for you gamers out there, the Game Mode is ONLY available with HDMI. I have the older XBOX 360 so I use the Component cables which means no Game Mode for me. I also have the 360's PC VGA cable, but again no Game Mode and you with those you cannot adjust sharpness, color, or black level. I did find another review here on Amazon for the 55" model, same series, and it looks to have the same problems. As you can probably already guess, I will be returning this.

***Updated 3/24 -- Okay I decided to change the ranking from 2 stars to 4 stars in that I have since calmed down and knowing that it was just a bad panel. So for anyone interested in this set, please take the review with a grain of salt (I also decided to leave it up, instead of deleting it). Overlooking the bad panel part, here is a few impressions of the set. For one, it is a beautiful set, very dark and glossy. Though just know that the screen is very glossy, black mirror like, but in a light-controlled room it shouldn't be a problem. I didn't get a chance to view any blu-rays on this so I don't know its potential. I did watch a DVD through an XBOX 360 (Kung Fu Panda) using component cables and it looked fantastic, honestly the best I've seen it. Didn't get a chance to go online with XBOX Live, but I didn't see any lag in the games I did play. I also didn't get to calibrate the set (since I was returning it), but out of the box, colors were good, blacks were not ink black still, but fairly dark with good shadow detail. I also found that this IS edge-lit, but all of the literature kept saying LED Backlighting, If I known that I wouldn't have bought it since I personally don't really like edge-lit displays since they typically have uniformity issues and flash-lighting (looks like spot lights from the edges), though not all edge-lit displays have this. Hopefully If you decide to give it a try, you will get a better panel.

if you do not want 3d this is the best tv to buy! i have the un46c6900 from best buy it is the same tv as the 6800 but a different color bezel. this is the only tv except the c8000 that has the led dimming. with this you get the blackest black i have seen on a led tv. also there is no clouding or light bleeding in the corners of the tv .i have had 4 different tv's from samsung in the last two years from the 46a650 to the 46b750 and the 6800-6900 tops all of them in picture quality! i did not want the 3d feature so this why i went with this tv.if you do not want to spent the extra money for the 3d model c8000 this is the tv to get.

I just got this TV yesterday & thus far i LOVE it!!! I have it hooked up through Monster 1000hd Ultimate High Speed HDMI cable (15.8 Gbps) oh & i have Fios. It looks like i am looking through a window, its AMAZING! I watched a DVD ( i also got the Samsung BD-C6900 1080p 3D Blu-ray Disc Player) & it also looked AMAZING! I have another flat screen that i bought a few years ago, a Pink 32" SONY Bravia KDL-32S3000/P. The picture on the Samsung is significantly better! I have yet to try out the 3D. so i will have to get back about that. I mean it is Ridiculously expensive for what it is. But its pretty great. As people have mentioned there is a bit of "juttering" which is slight & doesnt happen frequently & does not affect the volume, so it doesnt bother me. If it affected the volume it would drive me insane. So if not for the slight juttering & price i would have given 5 stars.

I just had to write a bad review about the same size Sony Bravia and it was pretty painful. I traded it for this knowing it would be better, but not knowing how much better. The picture is just amazing right out of the box, i made a few adjustments with the smoothing, and a few other things just to suit myself. Right away i viewed some trialers, Iron Man 2, Shrek 4, How to Train Your Dragon, and a few other things, and the difference is just like night and day. There is no grainyness to the picture what so ever, the smoothing is flawless and the sound is well, almost TO loud depending on how you fix it up. But hey i'd rather have to much volume than not enough. I got this bad boy on clearance at Best Buy for 1199$, regular price was 1899$, showing its definitely a higher end model TV, even if its not this years model. So stay away from the Sony Bravias and if you try to compare them, don't bother, the Vizios i have seen people have even far surpass the Sony, and even though i'm a huge fan of them i just can't believe how bad the Bravia i purchased was. So stick with Samsung folks, i remember back in about 2007 when the LCDs really started getting big and i saw a Samsung for the first time right next to a few others. I told my wife at the time wow look at the difference in the quality of this compared to the others, she was pretty mistified herself, which was unusual. These Tv's are rated number 1 for a reason, and when you pop it out of the box and feast your eyes on everything from Blu rays to HD tv channels to games, you'll see why they are so. Now lets just hope reliability wise it lasts. Later.:D

I was a little worried about ordering this TV because it was a brand new model (March 2010) and the only review that I could find was a negative one. The tv just arrived today. I was quite pleased with the tv. The picture is vivid and the sound is excellent for such a thin tv. I purchased the tv for my home office and upgraded from an older 23" Samsung tv which actually took up more space due to its side mounted speakers. If you are looking for a 26" tv, I feel that it was worth the extra $$$ to get this LED model. This was my first LED tv. The picture is great and it only uses 40 watts of electricity. My old 23" Samsung used 100 watts. I hooked up the coaxial cable wire to the tv directly and it found all of the analog and digital channels within a few minutes on auto mode. I also hooked up my PS3 via HDMI and it worked right away (The other reviewer wrote about his HDMI cable not producing sound.- Possibly he was using a defective HDMI cable or he had an audio output setting set incorrectly on the device that was connected to the tv...... because the HDMI output works fine on this tv). The only negative is that the tv display is 720p/1080i. The tv does not have 1080p but in all honesty on a tv less than 40" you really don't need 1080p. Final verdict- Pricey but worth it.... if this is the size you're looking for. I only wish that I had room for the 32" model. Don't just take my word for it....the tv keeps selling out on Amazon as soon as it comes back in stock.

After many years, I thought it was time to buy a HDTV and bought the Samsung UN40B7000 LED-TV. I am a huge tennis fan and bought it in time to see the Indian Wells ATP in California and am seeing the semi-finals as I write this review.

The setup was easy once I had got my HD DVR activated and the picture was no doubt a far cry from my old 27" workhorse (which has a decent picture). I did notice some pix-elation, particularly when the camera is near a object moving at high speed. This may not be because of the TV, but could be a result of the telecast too. I do not know. Maybe the 240 Hz refresh may have been better?

The sound on the other hand leave a little to be desired. The speakers are clean, crisp, but even though I am no audiophile, it cannot match the sound of a 0-0 sound system.

But overall, I am extremely pleased with Amazon for the packaging, the delivery and the ease with which it came off the packaging and the simple install. The picture quality is breathtaking, particularly for sports, wild life and science based channels.

I am World War II movie buff, and will soon be watching them once I decide on a reasonable matching Blu-Ray and sound system.

This television has an amazing picture and does not heat up like a plasma screen. Viewing is excellent from all angles; sports are crystal clear with absolutely no motion blur. Be sure to visit some of the tech websites for a list of the most effective picture settings.

I've only had the TV for four months, but there have been no problems with it. It is currently wall-mounted and attached to a home theater system with a blu-ray player and a Wii. I'm thoroughly satisified with all aspects of its performance.

I bought this when it went on sale and, aside from just being gorgeous overall - thinness, great design, lots of connections - this TV has a fantastic picture! I have HD (720p) content off iTunes and it looks absolutely stunning on this TV. My friends and I were stunned when I played HD Star Trek on this TV, we just stood there staring when we were supposed to be moving my old TV out.

The other day we watched District 9 on regular DVD and the picture upscaled was awesome. This TV inspired me to buy a Blu Ray player - the Samsung BD-C6500 1080p Blu-ray Disc Player - because I want to see full 1080p content on this baby. Also the InfoLink stuff works great, we get news and weather any time. I bought the Buffalo Technology Nfiniti Wireless-N Dual Band Ethernet Converter WLI-TX4-AG300N so I could hook it up to my wireless network along with other wired-only devices I'll get in the future.

Basically, this TV completely rocks, and as a bonus our electricity usage has gone WAY DOWN so we're saving money there as well, the LED technology makes great colors as well. I could gush longer but basically, if you're considering buying a cool current-gen LED HDTV you can't go wrong with this one, in my opinion and experience with it!

I researched this TV for a while before buying so I knew what I was getting. The TV works great and I'm aware of what people say about the white spots in the corners but it is not an issue at all unless you like looking at a black screen because that is the only time you notice it. Picture quality is the best I have seen.
1st thing is don't expect the TV to be delivered when it says on your order. It was late and I ended up going to the airport to pick up myself because it was going to be 4 more days if I had waited. Last complaint was 1 week after I purchased the TV the price was reduced by 0. Amazon refused to give me the difference back. If I had bought in any retail store they would have refunded the difference-no questions asked. I love Amazon but strongly do not agree with this policy!
